Time has a way of improving your law of averages in your network marketing business. As you continue to learn the business, your learning curve will improve, and along with it, your law of averages will also improve. More and more people, over time, will join you.

More people will become aware of your business and products, and hopefully, your sales will eventually pick up. In the beginning, nobody knows about you and your new business. You spread the word, either by talking to friends and family, placing ads, writing articles, participating in forums, placing a web decal on your vehicle, setting up a booth at a flea market or craft fair, hosting home parties, etc.

Each and every day, as you work to build your business, the law of averages is working for you. You will not be able to see the changes right away, but over time, you will realize that all the steps you took worked together to build your business.

The hard part is getting past those early stages. It may seem as if nothing is working, or you may think that you are doing something wrong. If you follow the advice of seasoned networkers, do what they do, and keep plugging along, you will eventually become successful in network marketing.

Time is a funny thing. It can work wonders in business-building. It seems to just drag on at first, but after awhile you will realize that it passed quickly and that you accomplished a lot. You will be so busy learning the business and finding new ways to market yourself and your business that time may seem to fly by.

This is rarely the case in the early stages, but after a year or so you may look back and wonder where the time went. You will realize how much you have learned and how far you have come. I am not suggesting that you will be wildly successful at this point, but you will have made a great start.

Then, as you continue the process, the law of averages takes hold and things begin to improve. You begin to sign up new team members and more people start to purchase your products. You realize how far you have come and are grateful that you never gave up.

After a period of time, possibly two to five years, your income starts to increase at a rate even greater than you had hoped. You realize that all the effort you put forth in the beginning is finally starting to pay off. If you continue those action steps to move your business forward, the momentum will really pick up.

As you teach your team members everything you know, the law of averages begins to work for them, too. Your business continues to grow with their efforts added to your own. Keep this in mind and it will help you in the beginning of your network marketing career. The law of averages is an amazing thing when given time to work.
