The first step of this adventure is that of safety. You don’t want to go thin at the expense of your health. What good is a slim and sexy if you don’t have health to enjoy it? Make sure that you lose weight and lose it the healthy way.
It is easy to fall into the phase of abstaining from food altogether in order to lose weight quicker. You need to keep in mind that this is wrong not only because you are eating unhealthily but you won’t be making much progress. The less you eat the more your body would store to protect itself and the slower you would lose weight.
When selecting a diet plan your lifestyle and schedule should be taken into consideration. The right diet plan should include your activity, relaxation, workout plan as well as your meal plan.
You need to avoid the yo-yo diet effect. People often go on a diet and lose 10 pounds but end up quitting and gain 15 instead! Here again determination is the key. Try to stick to your goal and hang in there.
Make sure that your diet plan also includes all the foods and recipes that you love besides the ‘healthy’ stuff. There definitely might be some things that you love eating and are also considered wholesome, for example, peanut butter, whole wheat bread, rice crackers, Soya Milk and strawberry shake, etc.
A grown up 120lb female requires approx. 132o calories a day while a male counterpart requires approx. 2000 calories per day. Of-course this also depends on the type of job they do. Heavy jobs require more calories but anything above that would be stored in the body and needs to be burned through some kind of regular physical exercise.
Select an activity that you enjoy and burn calories. The more fun the activity is for you the better and the faster you would burn calories. It could range from going for a brisk walk down to the grocery store (or for an errand by foot instead of taking the car), to dancing to your favorite music for 10 minutes each day! These little things can make all the difference.
