Why do People move to US?
The two reasons include education and job. They top the list of reasons that bring in people to US.
Studying in US
The USA has the worlds prime international student population, with nearly 700,000 students picking to expand their education and life experience in the United States. Nearly 4% of all students registered in higher-level education are international students, and the numbers are growing. From the mid-1950s, when international student enrollment was only just reaching 35,000, international education in the USA has come a long way.
Types of Study Visa
The F-1 visa is offered for non-immigrants wishing to pursue academic studies and/or language training programs
"M" visa is reserved for non-immigrants wishing to pursue nonacademic or vocational studies.
The J-1 visa is for individuals approved to participate in work or study-based exchange visitor programs.
Working in US
Working in US is a fascination for many of the youngsters around the world. The process of applying for work visa involves careful preparation and strategy. Slip-ups and blunders in submission of the work visa application process can mean that a visa applicant must wait for an entire year before he or she is eligible to submit another visa application.
Types of Work Visa
The H1B visa enables highly skilled International Workers and International Students, from all over the World, or already in the USA, the opportunity to legally live and work in America.
The H-2B visa can be used by people who want to work in the U.S. over the summer in a hotel, theme park or on a cruise ship, or over the winter at a ski resort or peak season restaurant. The H-2B visa may also be a good choice for individuals who are seeking temporary income by working for a landscaping company or manufacturing facility that operates on a seasonal schedule.
The H-3 visa allows foreign nationals to come to the United States for the purpose of training in fields such as commerce, communications, finance, government, transportation, agriculture, government leadership or "special education."
TN status is a convenient alternative to other employment-based visa categories, which are often more expensive and involve more rigorous requirements and a more complicated application process. TN status is available to citizens of Canada and Mexico who need to work in the U.S. in a designated professional capacity for only a temporary period.
The R-1 visa category is offered to Religious Workers.
The O-1 visa category is offered for foreign nationals who possess extraordinary ability in arts, education, science, business, or athletics, or who have demonstrated a record of extraordinary achievement in the motion picture industry and who have been recognized nationally or internationally for those achievements may qualify.
People flood in through H1B visa as it is a dual intent visa and can help them filing Citizenship Application Form later when they satisfy the requirements of it.
