Why your upper back is in trouble? |
Among the myriad of pains that affect people today, one of the most common for nearly every second person at some point in their life is back pain. It could be lower back pain or the upper back pain. Generally it is the lower back pain that is more common and more traumatic than upper back pain but upper back pain is probably the least understood and most difficult to treat successfully. |

Upper back pain treatment should include strengthening of the muscles and stimlating circulation to the area as well as strengthening and balancing the muscles in the lower back and legs. This will always help reduce pressure on the muscles of the upper back. There are many self help books available on the net that advocate stretches for this condition but most offer little help in overcoming upper back pain. The only real answer is gentle daily exercises to the area to help maintain circulation and suppleness in the tissue.
One thing that should be taken into consideration is that if the upper back pain is not treated properly, the problems could spread to the lower parts of the body.
