Why Working Any Job is Slavery

Getting your dream job will put more money in your checking account and enable you to live a life of self-fulfillment. But taking up any job will make you a slave. The vicissitudes of life will even compound the situation the more when you are working without commensurate reward.

It is important to understand that working any job is akin to not having a job or slavery. Working your ass out at any job is going to take you to nowhere. What this means is that you are taking one step forward and ten steps backward. So it is imperative to note that working at a job should essentially fulfill your dreams and desires at the least. Unemployment and underemployment are twin evils that should be avoided like a plague if you desire “a life with a meaning.”

Taking up any job will not allow you to:

- Have self-fulfillment

- Have money to buy the good things of life you desire and need

- Save for the raining day

- Invest so as to secure a blissful future

- Get out of debt as you will continue to borrow in order to tide over exigencies

- Be a master but a perpetual slave (i.e. a yes-man) since you won’t be able to plan for freedom from your J.O.B

- Be financially free

- Be stress free from money worries

If getting your dream job takes the same process as getting any job, why will you have to take up any job? Remember a well-paid job will reverse the above odds in your favor. Think about that!

All you need to get a job of your dream are simple, common, time tested but often-neglected principles that are glaring in our daily lives. My observation is that we do the daily chores we are not supposed to be doing and refuse to do what we should be doing. That is putting the cart before the horse instead of the reverse form. The reward is always what I call “the beggars purse.” What you give the beggar is what he puts in his purse. If you don’t give him anything you do not expect anything in his purse. Imagine that? It is like living in a rut and, to me, it is the worst form of living.

You must, of necessity, take some bold and decisive steps today to secure your future by getting your dream job. That way you will have financial freedom and be able to plan a life of independence and entrepreneurship.

Imagine having to call the shots at will and being your own master. You think well, plan better and you see well. And of course you carry your cross as well, but this time with a holy mind!
