A shift to lead free solder processing is the best thing to do for the environment and for the industry as well. Such products are integrated not only in electronics but also in products like computers, white goods, brown goods, and telecommunication and so on. This proves that the effects are not only limited to the electronics industry but also to the other industries as well. The new method of doing lead free soldering is very interesting to the industry because it’s more beneficial and different to use. It’s been long time when the conventional methods of soldering were designed and the process only revolved around the use of tin lead solder.

From a manufacturer’s standpoint, it is possible that lead free solder process might not give a lot of benefits but some companies which are using green environmental friendly methods to manufacture which is one of the strong point when it come to sales. Therefore, as per the laws it is of great benefit to support the green approach of lead free soldering and environmentally friendly manufacturing methods.
