Microsoft Access database can be corrupted due to various reasons like improper system shutdown, application malfunctioning, virus attack, and more. While there is no definite way to find that your Access database has been corrupted, below are the ways that enable you to identify Access database corruption:
Make sure that you are testing your Access database on local machine instead of testing the file saved on the network. If the error/crash does not occur on the local machine, then you will need to upgrade your network equipment.
Try to mount your Access database on another computer system on a clean installation of MS Access. If the corruption does not occur on another system, then you will need to remove new or unnecessary hardware from your system.
After you have identified that your Access database is corrupted, follow the below measures to resolve the corruption issues:
Delete .LDB file
Restore the database from an updated and valid backup
