Brochure and Fashion
Brochures, just like fashion, go through changes as well. What can be considered fit for your business today may seem odd and archaic in the next six months. This is why constant improvement is needed in order to keep up with the trend in the market.
But what is good to know is that advertising today is not much different from the past. There may be changes in the way products are promoted and presented, but the customers are the same as always. Give them a free taste of a new cookie and they will buy the whole carton. Whatever your products and services are, they are always willing to respond if given the right persuasion.
Enticing customers is, however, the single most difficult job in advertising. If your brochure is not tailored to your target audience, you are most likely to fail to realize the financial return you are expecting.
So, what should your brochure achieve?
Part of the success of your brochure is knowing what your customers want. Keep in mind that the purpose of your brochure is to attract customers. So before going about your brochure printing, ask yourself the following questions:
What do the readers want to know about your product? Are the readers well informed of the product or do they need more information? Are they interested in knowing the prices of your products?
Color is the key
Black and white may carry your message across, but they can become dull when they cannot satisfy the reader’s need for colorful imagery. If your goal is to create brochures that can be put under car wipers, then white printing is enough to convey your message. However, if your purpose is to print a brochure that will not only carry your message across, but promote action as well, choose color printing. Vivid colors will make your images pop up and highlight the important sections giving your brochure a more professional look.
Contact info
Though an effective marketing tool, brochures are however not designed to make the final sale. It simply is created to encourage readers to contact you. So make sure that you give your readers several options on how to reach you. This way it would be easier for them to contact you in case they are interested in what you offer.
Paper weight issue
As absurd as it may seem, but the weight of the paper you use in printing your brochure templates will have a huge effect on the way customers view your company. If you are creating a brochure for massive distribution, lightweight and standard papers are enough. But if you want to portray a professional image, a heavy paper weight is more appropriate. A gloss finish will also add attraction to your brochure and further uplift your professional image.
