Ways to Get Rid of Acne in a Week That Work |

There might be no ways to get rid of acne in a week, but certainly there are ways to get rid of it sooner. But for that, you need to understand some technical, rather medical, terms. Acne generally appears in teens when the body undergoes some strange physiological changes due to activity of certain hormones. The main function of these hormones is to bring about physical, psychological and sexual changes in the body, but excess of hormones may interfere with the other hormones and affect adversely. One such effect is increase in sebum production by the sebum glands. Things remain fine while the sebum flows out normally through the openings on the skin. But problem arises when it is obstructed by anything. Then the accumulated sebum gives rise to acne.
You may think that I am just telling you the causes and ducking the remedies. Eat a balanced diet full of fiber and green vegetables. This will not only give you relief from constipation (Mind you! Constipation is a major tributary to acne) but will give you necessary vitamins and proteins which will keep your metabolism functioning properly and help regulate the hormones. Avoid milk fats, vegetable fats and animal fats. Fats will tend to block the escapes further and make things worse. Also try avoiding meats. Meats contain toxins which may elongate the problem. Drink a lot of water. This will detoxify body by removing toxins and unwanted hormones from the body through urine and sweat and also reduce inflammation. Finally and most importantly, do your exercises regularly. This will help a great deal to avoid acne. But those were not the ways to get rid of acne in a week.
