No one can deny the fact that social Networking sites has changed the way how we communicate and has given a new dimension to it. Social networking is a great tool to connect with the people , of all walks of life. It has helped us to connect with the lost friends and loved ones in the past. But the bitter fact is they have directly affected the way how people socialized for the past thousands of years.And as a coin has two sides these social networking sites also has their downsides.

The Death of Human Interaction:
Every day we come across many scenes as the one that follows, In a restaurant we find a family having a family meal and among them the father will be checking for new emails , mother would be testing her friends and kids would be tweeting or playing games. Each one is pleased to connect with the person on the other end but naturally they neglect the importance of family conversation with their concentration moving away from the family as the time grows it can create rifts in the family. With the social networking gaining deep grounds it has certainly affected our face to face conversation. The time spent by the family members with the family has relatively reduced when it is compared with the time spent by them on social networks.
Media too plays its part in reducing the human face to face interaction. Many commercials offer Facebook, Twitter and other social media services for free in exchange of their products. This has further increased the affinity of the people towards the social media.

The Dangers of Social Networking:
Messaging/ speaking over phone while driving has resulted in significant number of accidents in the past and a new latest addition is social networking sites and people have started to use them while driving which has further increased the seriousness of this issue. Even though strict laws exist in U.S and few other nations people still use them while they drive.
Apart from this another major issue is our privacy is thrown public. Children are allowed to use social networking site at a very early age and it has exposed them to the open vulnerable world where they can become easy prey to the spoilers. And adults they share their private information without considering the side effects it can cause and there is a potability of misusing those private information.

A Threat to Your Career:
This statement might look out of box. But there are many real cases that support this cause. There are many cases where the employees might have stated some thing unlikely about his/her boss or about the organization and this can get the employee to be fired from the organization. If you are a person who uses social media heavily and if you have accounts in various social media sites then some intelligent hackers can collect all the private information that you have listed in these sites and can gather some vital information like your bank passbook number. Besides as employees waste a lot of the office time in this social networking sites, organizations face huge loss in revenue.
