The spirit of palmistry lies in identifying the types of hands, which could be credited to individual characteristics.
The Spatulate Hand
According to its name, the fingers of this hand are compressed like a spatula. A large thumb is the most characteristic feature of this. It tapers towards the fingers and is enormously broad near the base. This hand normally belongs to an imaginative person and these types of people posses a love for discovery and invention. They are skillful, energetic and thrive on taking risks. Individuals with this hand are mostly inventors, explorers, artisans, engineers and astronauts.
The Psychic Hand
Characterized by smooth fingers, this is small and slim. The nail phalanges are long and narrowing while the palm is medium in size. The thumb here is graceful and small. Individuals with this hand have a dreamy and visionary nature and they are interested in occult sciences. Characterized by lack of discipline, people with this hand shape lead a disordered life. The Elementary Hand
This hand type is characterized by heavy, stiff short fingers and a short thumb. Hard, thick, square palm, shapeless fingertips, rough and leathery skin are the other traits that are included. With bony fingers and difficult joints, this is a long and angular hand. The nailed phalanges are part square and conical and the palm is large and bony. These people are blessed with the capability to recognize the metaphysical aspect of life. This hand generally belongs to thinkers, teachers and world leaders.
