Africa's smallest country is Seychelles, and the largest country is Sudan. The land in northern is primarily desert, and the central and southern areas primarily contains savanna plains and rainforest.
Talk about animal, there are huge population of carnivore like lions and cheetahs. The herbivores are buffalloes, elephants, giraffes, etc. Its snakes and sea wild life is very variative too. The most poisonus snakes in the world is not cobra, but the african's black mamba.
Cape Town is located in South Africa. Its a famous destination for all tourists from all over the world.
What you can do or what place you should visit in Cape Town?
City tour. Visit Hout Bay or Wood Bay 15 kilometres from Cape Town , with its famous Hout Bay Manor and the Chapman's Peak Hotel. See the dutch forts on east and west Chapman's Peak. Africa surfing contest and cycle race is held here.
Table Mountain. Its a flat topped mountain, from where you can view the city of Cape Town, using a cable car along to the top of the mountain, and enjoy the national park. Dont miss the Castle of Good Hope. Another popular activities are hiking, and rock climbing.
Wine Tasting tour. Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl Valley are very popular amongs tourists. Its located not too far from Cape Town. You can walk at the Paarl and Stellenbosch region and enjoy African wine.
Whale watching. In August to November (breeding season) is a great time to watch the Southern Right Whales and Humpback Whales. The other species of whales can be seen any time not just august to november. Hermanus and False Bay are the right place to see the whales. You can just walk on the seaside if you're not interested for whale watching. By the way, if you love to dive, you can contact a travel bureau in Cape Town for scuba diving.
Port Elizabeth
Also known as PE, or windy city, is a major seaport of South Africa. It has amazing coastal scenery and wonderful sightseeing of the Garden Route (Oudtshoorn, Knysna and Tsitsikamma). If you have time, go to Addo Elephant Park, 72km to the north near the Zuurberg mountain. As a major seaport, PE is famous with its watersports. Fishing, paragliding, surfing, cruising, you name it, you can enjoy it all.
Boulders beach. Just like its name, its a beach bouldered with something like granite. What is interesting about this beach? Tourist come here to watch Pinguins, hundreds of African's pinguin colony. They also come here to swim, enjoying the beach. The water is amazingly clear.
