Pumpkin Push

Who doesn’t love pumpkin pie, but would you like some Pumpkin Push? It’s a simple Halloween game where the players are just required to push bright big pumpkins. Simple you think? It would be, if you didn’t have to push them to the finish line with only a stick ! Have this game on your agenda and watch the kids go crazy trying to beat their friends to the finish line for a pumpkin full of Halloween candies!

Be The Mummy

With lots of kids around, you can divide them into groups of 2 or 3 and let them ‘Be the mummy’! Ask each group to wrap one of their team members in toilet paper and the team that comes up with the best mummy, the fastest, will be the winner of this whacky Halloween game ! Bags of candies make the best rewards for these ‘little mummies’!

Candy Guess

Again a favorite among the tiny tots, one of the very good Halloween games is the Halloween candy guess ! This is a ‘sweet’ game for kids of the lower age group, as it involves no physical labor, just lots of candy and a nice guess. Put a bunch of Halloween candies in a transparent jar and ask the kids to guess the number of candies in it. The child who guesses right or the closest to the actual number becomes the winner of this Halloween game and gets all the goodies! If there are no winners, all players get to share the candies. This is a popular classroom Halloween game.

Tricks or Treats

This is the commonest and most interesting of the Halloween games in practice. And the best part is, this Halloween game can be played by both the kids and grown ups. In a big bright orange pumpkin put some paper slips with tricks written on them. For example—dance like a mummy, or walk like a spider or may be act like a Dracula. Each player will pick a slip from the pumpkin and perform the trick and if done amusingly enough, (which people often do) will get a treat. Depending on the age of the participants, the tricks and the treats may be decided.

Spin Scary Stories

And don’t we all know that the best time for a scary story is the scariest night of the year? So spin a story and scare the wits out of your friends and folks this Halloween! Now this Halloween game is more suitable for grown ups than young kids. Write down some story ideas on cards and pass them around at the beginning of the game. Someone starts and each player speaks for a minute and conjures up a spooky ambience with his/ her story. And the game goes on until the players tire out or are totally scared frozen!

Halloween is about having some spooky fun. Halloween games reflect just the right mood of the occasion and are popular with people of all ages. Just think of some games the folks enjoy, add a dash of Halloween spirit to those and you got a Halloween game ready for you to splurge in. After all, the winner doesn’t stay unrewarded. So why not be game for a round of groovy Halloween games?
