1. Do not be stuck with one poster.
Try to design several so you can test your poster printing performance. In fact, stop using the same color poster printing design over and over again. It really gets old every time. Your target audience will get bored, not to mention that you will not be able to test your results with the same poster. But you also do not have to change your poster daily or even on a weekly basis; do so on a monthly basis. Or better yet every semester. Just bear in mind that in order for you to know what is the best or not, it is necessary to test your poster with different designs.
2. Do not be stuck with one size.
If one size fits all, with posters, it does not. If you really want to attract attention and keep it, be sure to try out different sizes for your color poster printing. Try small posters such as 1/3 A4. These small ones are best for those bulletin boards that are already crowded. You can just squeeze in your small poster in between other posters. And you can also staple them in different angles so you can stand out. The bottom line is to try to be creative with your poster printing and never stick to just one design so you can compare results.
3. Always KISS.
Keep it simple and smart. Do not be stupid enough to cram your space with too many information, especially content wise. People get bored right away with too many words. And too many elements crowded into your space can lead to your poster confusing and overwhelming your readers. Use a simple and focal element to call attention to your print poster. Go for large fonts and simple messages for better understanding.
4. Focus on the benefits.
If there is one thing that your readers would be looking for it is the benefits. A golden rule to live by when printing posters is to clearly state how you can help your clients. Do not just say that you are the greatest; but concentrate on the benefits and make them the focal point in your custom poster.
Finally, be nice. If you cannot get your way when putting up your poster, at least be a gentleman about it. Do not cover up other posters especially if the space is too crowded with so many other poster ads. Be polite and try to look for old and expired posters if you really have to cover someone up.
