When you are attending some races, you will be excited and be concentration of many things, it's good for you. but if some runners are always be too excited and want to go to toilets, it's not a good thing and may do bad to your health. |

1. To be prepared
Once be told you have a race, the first thing you must be aware of is the place and race line, where is the starting and end line. No matter how small the race is, always go to there on hour before the race begins, this is to be familiar with surroundings.
2. Do not eat foods before the race
Energy in race is needed, but take foods at least before the race is a better way to make sure the race will go smoothly. Edible high energy foods before the racing, 2 hours ahead is best, it will make race more secure and play good.
3. Form some good habits for long race.
For some longer race over 10km, there will be some water station for runners. How will you take use of the water, will you drink one bottle or less, some people had never drink it before. The amount you drink will also do affect to race more or less. So decide how to use the water is important, have some traditional plan for it will be good.
4. Determine the speed of running
Race is an unexpected game, but you will make it better to have detailed plan. Will you be the first at the beginning of race or you only would keep the second or third. Keep calm and do not let others interrupt your race. To fresh men, we strongly suggest you do not run too fast at the first. Run gradually and beyond others will make you feel much better.
5. Wear smart clothing
Wear on right clothes for the race by concern about the weather. There is only one chance for the game, so wear in right way is needed. Do not try any kinds of new apparel, pick common apparel is better for the race.
6. Separate the course
For some longer race, it will be helpful to mentally separate them in sections. For example, you may separate the long distance marathon into 4 sections, each section have 5km. This will relieve the pressure and get psychological relaxation.
7. Relax
Running is a excited sport. Being tense and unrelaxed will make you less efficient. Keep you the mind relaxed. You can do many things to avoid unrelaxed, such as deep breathing, relax hands, legs and shoulders.
8. Bring support
Have some friends to support at the game, family or girlfriend. Knowing that so many friends are supporting you and you will be boosted when they are cheering. It will also be easier to run if some friend is waiting for you at the dead line. They may make the race more convenient and not be so alone.
