Essential Things:
• Food items
• Cooking bag
• Roasting pan
• 1 tbsp. flour
• Meat thermometer
Steps
• At first, put 1 table spoon of flour inside the cooking bags and softly shiver it around until the inside of the whole bag is layered in floor. The flour will help to avoid the food stuffs from sticking.
• Put the bag in a large baking dish or roasting pan. Avoid putting the bag openly on the oven racks when you cook.
• Add food items to the bag. Any food item that is oven-roasted can be cooked in a bag. On the other hand, cooking bags are typically used for large pieces of meats like ham, turkey or whole chicken, large roasts and additional vegetables like celery, onion, or garlic. After you fill the bag with necessary stuff, seal the unlock end with the twist tie available. Keep away from using any other kind of twist tie, because general ties are layered with paper and may catch on fire inside the oven.
• In the top of the bag, cut around 6 slits, 1/2-inch long so that the steam can discharge and the bag will not explode.
• Allow necessary time chosen for different food item. Find the instruction on the bag. For cooking every 9 lbs of turkey inside cooking bags, the average time is about 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In order to test if cooking meat is complete, put in a meat thermometer to one of the slits in the bag and check if the inside temperature arrives at the precise temperature desired for the sort of meat.
