Key of creating good content is to be persistent. Blog readers are hard to keep entertained and make them come back on regular basis. If you don't deliver accurate information in frequent time spans, your readers will read articles elsewhere. As you slowly write articles and content, your readers will visit your blog more regulary, and reading itself will be more easier and you'll be more confident. Soon you'll have articles that will come up on Digg, Twitter, Facebook etc.
Write about topics you know. You can stare at computer screen for hours trying to find perfect topic or post for your site or company, but if you don't know what you're writing about, your post will be noticed in cause negative effect. "Write what you know" has always been the moto and people hear it all the time, but it's just because it's so important to understand that. Online communication and readers can spot fake, reused content from miles away. Use your own skills to deliver accurate and relevant information. If you don't have that, do a research on the Internet, you'll sure find something.
Develop your own stile and be yourself. That that you shouldn't take everyone's advice. If you're not comfortable with a certain style of writing, don't use it, or use another. If SEO experts demand certain text for backlinks, they recommend using specific keywords.
Set your goals and plans. What do you expect from your website or blog? Do you want a lot of feedback, comments, good visit, sale etc? You can shape your writing to accomplish these goals and plans. If you want to make comments or start a certain discussion, your posts need to be interactive to involve feedback from readers. To increase visit, you need to focus on using the right keywords in your text, but still keep the content readable and informative.
