Just like in business, your online printing business would have the same situation if you do not fix your leaks right away. Even if you add more budget and resources to it, it will slowly dwindle away and what you will be left with is an empty bucket.
The way to fix your leaks is with these three techniques:
Check your source:
Sometimes the source of the leak comes not from the bucket but from the water source itself. It either dries up or evaporates. This means that these sources will not help you produce a consistent result that you expect to have for a long time. You are only wasting your resources and money on something that will not yield that much to help you sustain your print online business for a very long time. These are what we call short-term profits that either dry up or evaporate eventually.
To fix this particular problem, you need to look into ideas and strategies that are proven to make money. You might want to add a unique twist to these proven ideas but be sure to stick to their basic principles so you do not alter the results.
If it is the bucket, consider using the right one:
This means getting a bucket that can be used for the long haul. Do not use a bucket that can easily have holes, thus, have leaks with overuse. You will definitely need a much stronger and stable bucket if you plan to be in the online printing business for a very long time. Develop plans and strategies that you know can consistently provide you with great results. And be sure to have a profit plan that can work over a long period of time.
Finally, check and maintain your bucket regularly:
Although you might have the right and strongest bucket, you never know what conditions and elements can cause problems to it. There are conditions that are just outside your capacity to do anything about it. All you need to do then is to fix things and try to maintain your bucket so it would not easily be damaged by elements that you do not have any control of. Regularly check your water source and inspect your bucket for leaks or holes. Make sure that your long term plan for your print online business is consistent with your expected outcome.
