This Year Don't Be A MORB, Be E3!

An introduction to Jivan Mukti's philosophy of Self Liberation

Where are you right now at this very moment? I’m not talking about where you are physically; I’m asking where is your spirit right now? What are your emotions saying? How are “you” being in the true “you” sense; the happy “you”, the peaceful “you”?

If that “you” is hiding away behind the mask of a callous or unhappy person that thinks negative thoughts while they sit in traffic, goes through the motions of a job they don’t really enjoy and makes a mediocre effort to work out relationships without any sense of fulfillment, you might as be a “MORB,” a name given to a type of identity that exists in a rut described as a world of repeated thought patterns. It is time to get out of any thought process that limits your life. 2007 is ripe for Self Liberation to come to the forefront as a radical new philosophy of living happily consciously.

Jivan Mukti’s philosophy of Self-Liberation is a simple exercise in Socrate’s classic phrase “know thyself.” It is a philosophy about breaking the bonds of crowd conformity, of shedding the heavy weight herd mentality and social expectations. Now is the time to start simply living a pure and peaceful life. Self Liberation is freeing. It is good for the soul, the society at large, and it gives the living world its best chance at sustainability. It’s worth considering, right? Well, the first thing you have to do is let go of the MORB life. Mukti’s contemporary social theories define the MORB as a person who wears a “mask over their rational being”.

So who is a MORB? Take a look around. They aren’t hard to spot. You may even want to start with the mirror! A MORB could be coworkers who keep saying they’ll go back to school, the friend who gossips nonstop, the family member who nags and constantly complains about the smallest slights, your neighbor who is too noisy, the ex that gambles or smokes or especially the people who spend every paycheck at the dollar store. Anyone arguing over anything could qualify as a MORB. Some people have taken the concept and given number identifications to various MORB types. Les from St. Louis says you can tell a 240 MORB by the way they walk and talk. One kind of MORB is described as the buttery type by the way they shuffle their feet like they have heavy weights in their shoes. MORBs, in essence, make up “the mob” mentality, a million faces crowded together stagnant, unhappy and utterly trapped within a limited self-centered internal dialogue (I.D.) bound into a consumerist cosmos that masks the gritty surface level of co-existence. Having “I” awareness brings attention to the quality of one’s thoughts, words and actions (TWA), however that is where a MORB lacks most. MORB ID only has to stop for a moment and quietly turn inward to find one’s own personal value.

Ultimately, happiness and well being, while fleeting, are easily accessible and widely available for the MORB population. To be a MORB is to wallow The MORB life is to wallow in shallow experience, heavy steps and shadows.

Tired of carrying a MORB ID around? Sick of skimming the surface of survival? Then, “Be E3”. Jivan Mukti suggests Self Liberation as a solution to the MORB identity. Self Liberation is a path towards conscious living, a lifestyle philosophy that proclaims you are what you perceive in every moment of reflection. Having “I” awareness is contemplating what I think, say and do. Jivan Mukti describes the character opposite of a MORB as being E3. An evolved person who displays egalitarian tendencies is an E3 person described an “Excellent Example of Enlightenment”.

So how does one “Be E3?” It all comes from having a sense of ease. Shed negative thoughts. Stop speaking poorly of others. Take a relaxing breath of fresh air. Rather than strike out or seek revenge, ‘attune’ to the E3 channel of spiritual love and let the idea that you are a “divine distributor” strengthen you. Most likely, if you ask you will find others who share your attitude and lifestyle. Together you form a new ‘community’ by the quality of conversation that lives within it and you. Perhaps the new people you meet represent the next generation of Ultra-Being E3. It’s easy to find ultra-being E3 people - they practically glow! They smile often, walk as if they are on air, are concerned and caring and at peace with life. Most importantly to become E3, love your life. Take care of your body, your mind and ease the soul. Rest, contemplate, laugh.

While it won’t always be easy to shrug off the occasional negative comment or disengage entirely from the frantic rat race, you will find your heart more in harmony with divine E.C.K forces and by practicing E3, and you will find yourself more UB attuned every day. Happy days are here again!
