A successful website means a flawless website designing. Website designing is a task which can either make or break a website. Often while designing a website people take care of things to do, steps to follow but avoid taking care of things not do and end up making simple errors. |

Like any other task, website designing has its ‘not to do’ list too. These steps talk about simple things that on avoiding can create mistakes in a web designing program.
1) Do not ignore the importance of right key words
Key words the path of search of website. If you have a website with products to sell or information to display then you need to call it with right and appropriate key words and also use similar keywords inside the content in order to make it reachable and searchable for your customers or visitors. Do not use words that are flashy and trendy but do not define or give a clear idea of what your website is about. Such mistakes harms the website by not coming in search engines list, i.e. a customer might be using some other key words for his search where as you might be using another key word for your site.
2) Do not rely on a simple and plain textual presentation
You may be aiming towards presenting information or article based website but do not ignore the fact that lain or boring look pushes a visitor towards another site where he or she can find both the text and look. Do not rely on something which may be informational but a total opposite to attractive, thus it is highly advisable to support your text or content with appealing and scanable additions such as Keywords with highlighted text Bullets and paragraphs Different font for the headings, sub heading and text.
3) Do not use any design that resembles an advertisement format
Often web surfer while searching for a text or surfing a site use a quick glance to check if the website has what they want or not. Thus using an advertisement format for their design a website fails to woo the surfer due to misapprehension of content with an advertisement by the web user.
4) Do not mess up with the font sizes
Font sizes make a design appealing and help to distinguishing between heading, sub heading or a paragraph. It also enhances the readability factor by a visitor.
5) Do not push too much of creativity
Use a required level of creativity and layout presentation i.e. do not tend to overdo the presentation and appearance of a page. Do not avoid the change of color of visited links. This change helps to differentiate between the page visited and those not visited.
A successful website means enhanced business. And to make sure that you get your website designed effectively, do take care of things you should and should not do.
