The middle of the court has a red line of thirty centimeters, called the centre line; it divides the court into two halves. The second half or half of the team locates in the place where your own team goal is. The opponent's half of the field or the first half locates in the place where their own goal is. Today's division is based on the 1998 to 1999 season. There are six areas now, because the alliance adds two areas after a reform. There are thirty teams of NHL currently, such as Eastern Conference, Atlantic, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Northeast. In the world of hockey, countries such as Canada, the United States and Russia are in the leading place. Ice hockey requires athletes have the ability of strength, endurance, speed, skill, determination, courage and other qualities.
