Jacket:
A tuxedo or dinner jacket is usually black or midnight blue. The jacket may be either single or double-breasted style. It may have either a silk or satin notched or satin shawl lapel. Compared to the double-breasted one, single-breasted tuxedo is considered more formal.
Pants:
The tuxedo is worn with midnight blue or black trousers with one black silk band down the outer seam. Pants are held up with braces or suspenders. Cuffs on formal trousers are unsuitable.
Shirts:
For Tuxedo, a white shirt with French cuffs and cuff links will be perfect. Shirt, that is plain or with traditional pleating will work out well. You may have a hand kerchief in the breast pocket of the jacket. Colors that are suitable are usually white or possibly red. Avoid colorful shirts and shirts with too much design. Cummerbunds should match the fabric on the man's jacket and the pleats should face up.
Turn-down or wing collar is apt. A black bow tie is alone perfect with a tuxedo. A red or white tie, a four-in-hand or western bolos with a longhorn skull would look odd. Don’t put on clip-on bow ties, instead tie yourself.

Accessories:
Tuxedo accessories include cummerbund with the pleats facing up, shoes in black patent leather, the bow tie that matches the cummerbund. If you opt for a vest instead of cummerbund, wear a necktie that suits the vest. Top hat and gloves are inappropriate with a tuxedo.
Style Tips:
Double-breasted styles suits trimmer men, while single button styles are the most flattering. Single breasted peak will be more traditional.
