Are you searching for a home business opportunity? Well before you get to far into your search, let me give you a few tips and suggestions before you spend a lot of time doing it.

It is hard for the first time person or average home business seeker to see through all of this and decide if this opportunity is really something you want to take part in and promote to. Because we all know that the independent representative of the company will be pushing hard for you to join because that means more money for them!

So how do you decide which home based business opportunity is right for you?? I think there are 3 very important factors and keys to your success when deciding which work from home position you want to join.

The first thing you need to do is define your purpose of joining that particular home business. What are you trying to accomplish out of involving yourself with that company, product/service, and team. Can you find yourself being passionate about the company? Can you find yourself willing and wanting to promote this home business to anyone you see because you believe in the product and know that it will add real value to the individual you are presenting it to.

The second thing after defining your purpose is to look at how the company is doing. Is their success growing? Here are 10 questions that you should go by and get answers to before joining.

1. What is the company?

2. How long have they been in existence?

3. What kind of products are they selling?

4. What is the comp plan?

5. Is it something we could back?

6. Is it something we could see ourselves selling or working?

7. How is the system laid out?

8. What kind of training do they offer?

9. Have we heard anything about them, good or bad?

10. Are they heavily marketed at the moment?

The last thing is who you join and how successful your team is. Its common sense, but most people don’t care or don’t think about it until they have joined. Would you rather join someone who is making 5,10, $20,000 a month or someone who is making 2,3, $400 a month? Who you join can be the single most important factor in your success with the home business. Because they will be the ones who are

mentoring, guiding, training, and coaching your way to success and are able to stand on your own two feet! This is extremely important for you. Yes people can succeed without a great sponsor, but it only makes the job a little more difficult for you. Now with all of this being said, just because they are making $10-20,000 a month, doesn’t mean they are a great sponsor for support. This is something you will

have to get a feel for before you join them in your home based business opportunity.

Use these guidelines and don’t be afraid to ask questions before you join any home based business opportunity. But coming into a new work from home position and knowing that you are educated can really help your success, especially early on.
