The benefits of choosing promotional pens as part of an effective advertising strategy are clear, there simply is no better way for your brand name or logo to reach a wide market saturation than using promotional pens. These little guys are not meant to deliver a detailed message to your products (or businesses) audience, but rather designed to make your company name (or product name) second nature for your intended audience. People will not see your promotional pens and think “ya know I really should get my toilet fixed” (assuming your a plumbing company) instead, should they ever be in need of a plumber, your company's name will be at the fore front of their mind thus increasing you customer base over time.

Of course there are other ways to get a company name or logo out there for people to see, billboards, print and television advertising have all been around for a long time. Unfortunately they are expensive, and not ideal for the small business. There is also the issue with longevity, a commercial lasts about 15-30 seconds then it is over. A pen lasts forever (or at least till the ink runs out). This affords the potential customer loads more time to get properly acquainted with the brand name, and ideally integrates it in to their daily consciousness.

While this may seem like a lot of marketing mumbo jumbo think about it this way; the longer someone holds on to a promotional pen the longer they will be in contact with whatever brand name or logo is printed on it, the longer they are in contact with hat name or image the more comfortable they become with it, it's not new and scary. Now when the potential customer is in need of a product or service that you provide, who will they turn to; a name they have never heard of, or the one that they have lived with for weeks printed on a promotional pen?

For fast, effective, and inexpensive marketing there really is nothing out here that can match a well designed promotional pen. Pens are synonymous with modern life, very few people go anywhere without one now a days, and every time a potential customer needs to write something there they will be briefly glancing at your product name or logo becoming familiar with it without even noticing.
