Ed, Ed many thanks and as you know I’ve been on tour for some 6 years and it’s been an up and down adventure. Your coaching has helped more than you’ll ever know and yes I’m laughing at my missed shots instead tossing a club. I knew I wasn’t alone and a few people even suggested that I take some stress or anger management counseling but I know it wasn’t this type of problem. You spotted the problem after the first day. You showed me how to laugh at bad shots and not let that shot destroy the hole or the next hole. Putting things in the proper perspective is a skill you’ve taught me how to us and develop. See you at Firestone in August and dinners on me.

I spent 14 years in the mortgage business as an agent and a broker, then opened a company buying and selling large properties for myself. I needed to know that I could do it, if I had the talent, guts and proper business background. Ed showed me not only the answers to my personal concerns but how and where to have the other concerns addressed. This business has changed my life by keeping me home, and I truly enjoy associating with other of high integrity, ethics and who look to the future and don't dwell on the past.
Ed, you've enriched my life and consider you a friend to the end of my days.
Sara, San Diego - Contractor In-home
I needed something that would help me really live my life to the utmost. I was working a corporate job for almost 11 years; I had been downsized and downsized. Finally I had it when my salary was cut by 33%. I knew it was time... Today my life is drastically different. I work out of my home office in NJ. I didn’t give up the suit for jeans, sweats and shorts. And I spend most of my day doing what I enjoyed: And I have already tripled my income this year working this business 30 hours a week.
Jeff, NJ - Computer Application Designer
I was a VP in the corporate world for over a decade. When I was introduced to a new industry, had serious doubts and needed some real honest feed back without any prejudice. I left my job, before I even made a penny with my new business venture. I know I had the skills and the experience but needed to know if I had the right determination and the committed belief that this could not fail; I have created a life for myself that consists enjoying my days with my son and true financial freedom.
Martin, Hawaii - Developer
I worked in Investment world with my father for 20 years. In 1999 Carl (College Buddy) and I bought a small IT staffing firm In Cincinnati, OH and ran it until 2004. We move two blocks from the ocean in beautiful San Francisco, CA. and started our search for 2nd office, while consulting for another staffing firm we just sold. We found our answer November 2005. The first thing I did was take my buddy to Ed, and with a great deal of concern and protest from Carl. He couldn’t relate to the price of the service but shortly learned it was a great investment of our time and effort. We started one year ago over 60k in credit card debt, and because of this simple business model and our strong desire for change and our efforts we now we’ve paid off the debt, life is good, very good but Mr. Trump is still safe. Carl just got married and on his way to Hawaii and even Ed said he married up. Bless you Ed and have a friend that will be calling you soon.

About Author
Ed Burns, Sr. is best described as a happily married man and the truth are told he is. He’s been married for some 34,000 years and luckily enough to the same women. He has 3 adult children, Kim a stay at home mother & wife and Ed is very proud of her, Andrew a 30 year old Sr. Underwriter for a major bank and Ed Jr., a Priest and let me tell you its funny to hear him say I’m the father of father Ed, when he’s at a social event of the church.
Ed’s one of those guys that you can see that he’s happy in his own skin, though he complains there is too much of it. In all reality, it’s apparent as can be to see a man that can accept the negative side of life and really turns them into positive. He a Vietnam Vet and should be very proud of his service and he understands that there is a difference in acceptance of the individual effects it can have on different people. He feels he’s been lucky enough that he can set aside the negative side of the experience and put it in a perspective it was war and you deal with it and then walk away. He told me one time “To understand life you first have to understand that it’s a continues learning period” I said OK, explain; He said OK, you can’t sit on a bench in a mall and not look at people as they walk by, first you make your assumptions by their appearance, then by what you hear but to really understand a person, you have to sit down and talk with them. During the whole process you learn and 95% of what you learn in life is from people. Ed studies people in great detail, he listen between the lines as he calls it ad states it’s really easy to hear a lie and yes I fell into this one also. I said OK, how? Simple and as one explanation 90% of all lies start with the word “AH”
When Ed started his coaching business I think I was one of his first and over the years we’ve become best of friends and believe it or not, he dose most of the listening.
