The customers may loss their temper and shout over the phone. So, what should we do then? Well, we should let them express their feeling and dissatisfaction. Do not interrupt them while they are speaking to you. Meanwhile, do not object what they have said. Just let them tell you about the whole story and you will have the ideas about the root and cause of the problem.
It would be useless even you are able to out talk your customers and you win in this fight, because you may have hurt customers’ feeling. As a result, you will loss many businesses in future. So, it is important that you understand the problems and speak to them politely to achieve a “win-win” situation. Please do not feel depress or miserable if they scold and shout at you, because customers are not happy with the company’s products, (or something else) THEY ARE NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT YOU! Customers are not scolding you after all; they just raise their dissatisfaction about the company or products.
On the other hand, what should we do if the customer wants to make a complaint at the counter? Actually, the technique to handle these complains is the same as above mentioned. The different is that you should lead the angry customers to a room and serve them with drinks first, then only you start to talk to them. This shows that we respect and we are ready to serve them. Do not let your angry customers to complain in front of the counter to avoid the scene become the central of attraction.
