How does it work? Tylon garage floor tile from Sport Court is vented to allow dirt, water and debris to fall underneath. Water evaporates, and dirt can be cleaned right through your garage floor tile with a shop-vac. The beauty is that the dirt stays hidden until you have time to clean it, and your garage floor always looks freshly swept. Plus, this Tylon garage floor tileis designed to interlock with and complement solid Daytona tiles--it’s the perfect garage floor system!
Use the Tylon garage coverings in areas where your vehicle pulls in, in high traffic areas, where the dog comes in or where you kick off your boots. This way, water and snow melt-off will drain beneath and evaporate while dirt and debris gets locked away before it is tracked all over the rest of the garage, workshop or into the house!
Sometimes it’s tough to pinpoint exactly where drainage tiles are required, especially in wet weather climates. If this is your case, installing them over your entire garage floor could be the best solution. People in dry weather climates may not need much of any drainage garage floor tiles, and could do well covering the entire surface with the Daytona product.
Installation is very easy. This is a no glue, no adhesive, one-day job. The hardest part is figuring out what you need. Basic design options range from 1’ to 2’ wide strips of Tylon under each tire track to an 8’ by 15’ area that covers the entire surface beneath the vehicle. Custom designs are also possible. Several complementary color options are available.
