The lens cover at the back serves the dual purpose of protecting the camera as well as the activation key for it – the camera is activated as soon as you slide the lens cover.

The integrated camera of the Sony Ericsson K800i is of 3.2 mega pixel module. Much to all user's delight, it lives up to the CyberShot brand name. The manufacturer did not compromised for a cheap LED flash but settled for a full fledged automatic Xenon Flash. Powered with novel BestPic feature, auto-focus and 16x digital zoom the Sony Ericsson K800i gives you a perfect snap every time you hit the click button and print them instantly with any PictBridge compatible printer. The image stabilizer avoids shaky videos caused by movement of the hand so that you can record high quality footage for as long as you like.

A separate camera for video calling is included in the Sony Ericsson K800i.

Data download speed of up to 384 kbps lets you instantly download everything you want in the 64 Mb internal memory which can be further expanded by 1GB through external memory card.
