Some Technique of Chewing Gum Removal

We all suffer from the sticky chew gum everywhere, mainly seems on the places of the trains, buses, parking areas, and everywhere on the street. And after that it is sticks on you, so in the post you will get to know various methods and techniques for chewing gum removal.

As we all know that the litter of the chewing gum is a big problem so to overcome this problem, there are so many ordinary methods are developed, these methods and techniques are much cheaper and simpler which are mainly followed by the many cleaning companies. But sometimes the problem occurred when we cannot get to know what type of the chemical ingredients in commercial chewing gum removal products will do the job for your clothes.

1. By using salt and soap - This is the most common and famous technique for removal of the chewing gum on the clothes. In this technique add a few drops of liquid detergent soap on the gum and after that add salt. After a minute, rub that part with the help of another piece of material to remove it.

2. By freezing the gum – This is the most famous techniques used to remove the gum on the shoes, carpets, mattress, etc. and even from the hairs. In this technique, if the object will fit in the freezer, then this is the easiest way to removal the chewing gum from the object. Once the object is frozen the chewing gum become breakable and can be easy to break off. Besides this, you can also use the ice cubes in the plastic bags put it over on the gummy area.

3. By using the egg – When the massive amount of the chewing gum is removed with the help of freezing or picking after that rub that sticky area using beaten egg white for a while. Using this method the gum is being detached completely from the object.

You can also use the solvent like spirit or any other light fluid, if any other marks of the gum are left but before apply the solvent on the object first check it clearly that it doesn’t harm the object. Apply a small amount of the solvent on the hidden area of the object like on the border or the back side of the carpet and after that use the normal wash or dry-clean to finish the job.
