To succeed at abything in life, one must learn and master certain skills. In the network marketing industry, the same principle applies. |

There will be people to help you, mostly your upline (i.e the people who have achieved a higher rank within your chosen opportunity. e.g your sponsor), but you cannot rely on them alone. This is because network marketing is a very personal game and everyone as much as he/she feels is necessary to succeed.
Your upline may be earnest in training you, but they may not have the expertise that is really needed to succeed. There are several hidden secrets that they may not know or be uncomfortable with initially.
But you need not let these things hold you back.
There are ways in which you can find out a lot of information about how network marketing works and then design it to suit your own needs.
Some of the skills required for success are:
- How to inspire people to join your network (finding their motivation/hot buttons)
- How to prospect new clients so that they work up an interest for your venture
- How to inspire your existing downline so that they can bring in new members (coaching)
- How to consolidate your position as a leader (building depth)
- How to think out of the box and make your group expand (creativity)
- How to understand the various compensation plans that these opportunities have
- How to select a network marketing opportunity that would really work for you…and so on.
These are just a few of the things that you would need to learn in order to succeed. Of course,
each of these is different from the other and you can never say what your eventual education would be like, but one thing is sure; you will be learning various tips and secrets.
And as you would come to realise, most of the training tools are devised by people who have made grand successes with their own network marketing ventures.
When we say training tools, we refer to CDs, eBooks or sometimes some other form of interactive material. There will usually be a set of CDs and you will have a choice to ask for VCDs or DVDs.
The number of CDs varies from one author to another. Most of them have membership programs to continually train people on aspects of network marketing and also to provide them ongoing support.
Some examples of such leaders in the industry would include; Randy Gage , Art Jonak , and Mike Dillard to name a few.
