The definition of winter sport is to do sports with all sorts of fittings on an ice field, which is natural and artificial. Winter sports usually can be divided into two kinds, which are ice movement and skiing sport. Speed skating, figure skating and ice hockey belongs to ice sports. Speed skating can be divided into standard site skating and sprint way skating. Single skating, double skating and ice dancing are the three parts of figure skating.

There are many patterns of skiing, such as synchronized skiing, tobogganing, military skiing cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, diving platform skiing, ski jumping and Nordic skiing. With the increasing amount of international winter competitions, the seventh International Olympic Committee made a decision, which was to hold Winter Olympic Games alone after the year of 1920.

If we want do winter sports, it is essential for us to choose the right time and appropriate weather. For insisting on the long-distance running in winter, in order not to slip, we have the necessity to pay special attention to ice and snow. If you meet fog weather with frozen snow, it will be better to run in the room, on the veranda or a place under the eaves.

If you do like this, you will receive a healthy effect as well as avoid accidents. If a people live in a busy street and have no activity areas to use, it will be a good chance for them. Physical functions will recover faster if young people do sports in the morning or at noon, because young people's metabolism circulates fast in winter. It is proposed to exercise from seven o'clock to nine o'clock or twelve o'clock to fourteen o'clock at noon.

Middle-aged people are suggested to do sports, which can improve their heart functions, because they do not have the ability to suite for the environment easily. Good effects will be achieved if middle-aged people do exercise from eighteen o'clock to twenty o'clock. Moreover, the air circulation will be poor, impurities and bacteria will float in the air if you do exercise in the fog, so in order to keep in fit, you had better prevent yourself from doing that.

Moisture and nutrition should be added after exercise. No matter you do exercise in winter or summer, water that needed will be the same. Ordinary water or sports drinks will be good choices after exercise. However, hot coffee or chocolate is not a good option; it will cause losses of body water.

In addition, carbohydrates and proteins also need to add immediately, eat some pasta, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, potatoes, chicken, eggs, lean meat, fish, bean products, etc. Furthermore, diabetics should stick to exercise every day. Exercise can be separated as snacks, put them to the same time period. It will be better if you do a certain number of exercises after each regular meal. If you do exercise after, your blood sugar will be decreased steadily, blood glucose also can be reduced after the postprandial meal.
