Preparation
-Imagine and Visualize in Advance
A surgeon imagines a successful outcome of the procedure before he/she performs the surgery. The architect and engineer imagine the beautiful skyscraper before the construction begins. A champion athlete imagines triumph and victory before the contest begins. A child imagines walking before standing. To accomplish success, you have to define your starting place and mix your imagination. You have to visualize the accomplished task and see yourself achieving and feeling a sense of greatness. Move toward your tasks with confidence. Have you ever witnessed confidence from an unprepared person? It doesn't usually happen. To be candid, if you are unprepared, you are not at the top of your game; if you are not on your game, you look sloppy. If you look sloppy, you will begin to feel sloppy. Create a mental picture of success and use your imagination to bring your ideas to life. Your ideas will flow easily and assist you in overcoming any unexpected adversities.
-#1 Reason for Overcoming Negatives
When you are prepared, you place yourself in a position to handle any challenge or task without worry or fear. When a person has prepared, they have gathered data, performed research, raised opposing questions and have developed a solid plan to achieve success. Being prepared is another way to expect any unexpected situation. If an unexpected circumstance or situation arises which may hinder production, adjustments can be made in order to successfully carry out your plan for completion.
-Align yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally
Preparation takes mental focus and concentration. You have to feel good about what you do, and position yourself for success. Physical preparation is a matter of gaining proper rest and diet. You need fuel to carry out your plans. Emotional preparation is crucial. You can make huge strides, or set yourself up for pain and heartache if you are unprepared. Feel good about what you do. When doubt arises, go back and read your goal list. This will help you keep your emotions under control and move forward. Prepare for the worst and best case scenarios.
-The one who is best prepared-Wins
The attorney that wins the big case, the plastic surgeon that successfully reconstructed the face of a burn victim, the consultant that closed a seven-figure deal, and the basketball team that repeated as champions were all prepared for victory in advance. They adjusted, adapted, and made sound decisions quickly. The most intelligent or talented person may not necessarily be the most prepared. Winners make habits of preparing for any task or endeavor. Make preparation a habit
