Search engine optimization is one of the most effective ways to market your website, work from home and make money online. SEO in essence is submitting quality content with your contact information throughout the Internet. By doing so, you will index your website. This means that as you submit more and more content your website will appear higher and higher in the search rankings. Thus, more and more visitors will view your website allowing your home business to flourish. The most basic form of SEO is article submission. When submitting articles there are a few concepts you must focus on in order to grow your home based business.

Article submission is more than just submitting whatever to random article submission websites. What you need to focus on is content, form, and keywords. When writing articles make sure you have something to say such as a specific message or a valuable point. What is on your mind, what have you learned and how can you help others to perhaps not make the same mistakes you did? You always want to submit articles that relate to your business. For example my area of focus is home business. Therefore, I write articles that directly relate to the topic of home business. Everyday I learn something new about my home business and have many different ideas and thoughts. Don’t be afraid to share your thoughts as in most cases, others are thinking the same things as well. Focus on the value and meaning of what you have to say and your message will be conveyed with ease.

With regards to form, always write short and clear sentences. You want your message to be simple and easy to understand not confusing. It is okay to use long sentences once in awhile as necessary, but never more than three lines. Write friendly and personable articles which people can relate to. Nobody likes to read detached articles, it is like learning from a robot and very boring. So have fun and know that you are helping others learn and grow just as you are.

Every home business, business or website should directly relate to a specific niche. Therefore you should have a list of precise keywords for marketing. Again, my business is a home based business so I use the following keywords when composing my articles: make money online, home business, work form home, work at home, home based business, make money from home, Wealth Funnel System...etc. Make sure you have a list of keywords that directly relates to your website or product you are marketing. Use these keywords throughout your articles which will allow you to target the correct audience or niche. There are thousands of article submission websites, some are free and others you can pay to have your articles submitted to many article directories. Bottom line, search engine optimization is not terribly difficult and is without a doubt a superb marketing tool.
