The usage of hidden text can be treated as an unethical procedure. In this procedure people implement text of the color same as of the web page. 2. Auto-Redirecting:
Precisely, auto-redirecting is the technique of automatic transfer of a visitor to another page once he or she lands on a page. Usually, an altogether different web page is located on the same website. When visitors visit at a web page from the listing in the search engine results, they are automatically redirected to another site.
3. Cloaking:
The method is all about opening of different pages to different people on the basis of some criteria. Mainly, the pages get opened according to the geographical locations.
4. Doorway Pages:
Doorway pages are especially created web pages that feature keywords and specific information readable by search engines for some sort of information searches.
Using unethical and unscrupulous techniques does not bring high ranking in long terms. Instead, they are short lived. If a website uses more of such practices, chances are that it can be moved to a search engine’s sand box. Once, a web site moves to the sand box, it would be quite difficult to retrieve the web site from it. So, one should avoid using unethical SEO practices.
