Sardinia hosts a number of sport events all year round such as International regatta, with epic boats, Maxi Yacht, Perini and IMS Vessels, organised by the Costa Smeralda and Porto Rotondo Yacht Clubs.

Good driving skills are essential on the island, as roads can be very challenging with many curves and unmade up roads. For this reason from May to November two world championship rallies are held in Sardinia, and many car companies decide to test their cars here. In April and September and just a few Km from Arzachena it is possible to participate in one of the Polo national tournaments. Another bizarre appointment is the competition known as “Istrumpa” a typical local fight accepted and protect by the EU and recognised as part of the Celtic sports.
