Preparation

When dealing with a leak, ensure that the seam and surrounding area are thoroughly cleaned. Remove the debris and lose concrete bits using a broom or mop. Try using a plumbers probe to make sure that the seams don’t have any moisture seepage. Next, scrape away any and all traces of adhesive deposits. Ideally, the leaking area should be dabbed with warm water. The act helps to stabilize movable concrete bits. Ethanol should be rubbed around the cracked rubber seams as well.
