Eating out in the evening is a popular event on the Island, so it is advisable to pre-book a table at a well frequented eaterie, especially on a Saturday. You will find that many restaurants offer a set menu at a fixed price. The cost of a meal can vary from around ₤4.95 for a simple pub dish to over ₤30 for an elaborate feast at a premier location. Locally brewed beers and wines are to be found behind the bar at many an eating establishment.
