Resolving 'The document is corrupt and cannot be opened' Error a Excel Startup

The workbook you place in this folder appears in hidden state at the time of startup. But if this startup workbook gets corrupted, you experience issues in starting the application and need excel repair solutions.

Move other files back to XLStart
Open the corrupt Excel file using Excel 'Open and Repair' function to repair it
