Invest now and print them early:
By printing your full color catalogs now, you can gain a competitive edge over your rivals. They are probably in the same boat now as many of us. Sales are a little hard to come by and they are a bit hesitant to invest in any kind of printed material. They may not realize it, but an upsurge for the market is already on the horizon. The company that has a good reputation and exposure early on can really get the lion's share of the market. All it requires is a little investment.
If you print your product catalogs now, you can steadily increase your reputation as a surviving and competitive firm. Since your rivals may not be thinking of printing anything these days, most people will only see your product catalogs being given away. If you keep it up, your products will be the products that they will remember when that new cash flows in. When that cash flows in, there is a good chance that they will spend it on you. So keeping up with your product exposure is key these days. Invest now, and you should reap the benefits in the future.
Take care of your business relationships:
Besides maintaining a presence in the eyes of your consumers, you also need to maintain your relationships with your business contacts. This is especially true if you are a supplier for retail stores. Printing and updating your supply catalogs is still essential in a recession. It is good to offer these to business contacts so that they can have options for the best affordable deals. Give them your best offer through your color catalogs and tell them that the special prices are because they are special customers. Always deliver an updated version of those catalogs so that they will know what products or materials they can look out for to help their business. Keep that loyalty and good will flowing between both of you. Close Friendships are formed in trying times.
Once the good times roll in, and the cash gets back into our hands, that friendship will be key to upcoming growth. With you business contacts still remembering what you did for them through the recession, they may return the favor in giving you their loyalty and of course sales. You will reap the benefits of a new booming economy and all you have to do is to invest now while only a few are doing it.
So what are you waiting for? Retailer or supplier alike, print catalogs are still important even in a recession. In fact it may be the key for success in the coming months. Go ahead and print those new color catalogs!
