Raleigh Massage Spa Blue Water Spa offers a variety of therapeutic and stress relieving massage modalities. The following are questions to ask before reciving a professional Therapeutic Massage:

1) Can a Massage be customized for my needs?

On your initial visit, you will be asked to complete an intake form to acquaint us with your needs, medical history, likes, and dislikes.

2) What products are used on my skin?

High quality massage oils are water soluble and will leave your skin feeling soft but never greasy or sticky. These oils contain only natural essentail oils, no artifical fragances, but unscented products should also be available if that is your preference.

3) What if I want a firmer or lighter touch?

During the massage, the therapists will check on your comfort. A face cradle and bolsters are provided for your comfort. If you have special needs, please inform the therapists.

4) Who will perform my massage?

A certified professional massage therapist. Please ask us about our training and certifications. We are very selective about our massage therapists and only employ therapists with an extraordinary training, touch and professionalism.

5) Are There Different Kinds of Massage?
Yes, Swedish is light & relaxing, deep tissue or Sports massage is for tight sore muscles and joints. Pregnancy massages are available as well.

6) How Will I Feel After My Massage?
Initially after your massage, you will feel very relaxed with a sense of well-being and self-awareness. You may experience freedom from aches, pains, and stress. The deep calm experienced after massage may carry over into your daily activities. Many people experience an increase in energy that can last for several days.

Blue Water Spa carefully interviews massage therapists for their professionalism and ability to perform many types of massage with expertise. We allow our massage therapists ample time between clients to rejuvenate and clear their mind so they can give the best possible treatment to every client. We limit the number of massages each therapist may perform in a day in order to ensure that each and every client recives the same high quality massage experience.
