Procrastination is something that can easily affect any individual but also the consequences often affect the lives of their friends and families as well. It creates havoc in everyone's life and is a hard habit to break, but it can be corrected with some real efforts. |

Procrastination is often taken too lightly and falling into this type of habit can be devastating. It often occurs as being just part of the daily routine
Procrastination can cost you that promotion
Employers watch for signs of procrastination and your boss may by pass you for a great promotion because of this. You may not even be aware that this is being noticed.
You may be slow or never fully completing your daily tasks. Perhaps you may think it is because your work load is too great. Procrastination should not be looked at as being lazy however.
It may put undue pressure on a co worker. Often fellow workers have to pick up the slack of a procrastinator. This can cause tense working atmospheres.
You may not understand that this is one of your weaknesses. This habit can become such a part of your daily routine that it goes unrecognized.
You may be frustrated with yourself in the workplace and this is the reason. You may be suffering as a procrastinator and not even know that this is the cause.
Once you recognize this as being the problem you can take steps to correct it. Identifying this as being the cause is half the battle to beating it.
Procrastination can keep you in the poor house
Bill paying is something that must be done on time to avoid late fees and hassles. A procrastinator is very much aware of this, and does not intentionally avoid the paying of his bills.
A lot of extra money in late payment fees is dished out by the procrastinator.
Yet this never seems to be enough of a lesson to get them to face the fact that they are procrastinating. They often get angry with themselves for allowing this to happen, and this just leads to more frustration.
These acts can have long lasting consequences on person's financial records.
Procrastination can mean the difference from being poor or rich
Procrastinators often lead a sad uneventful and financially robbed life because they simply put off to tomorrow what should have been done today.
Sometimes the procrastinator ends up living a lonely life because they never seem to be able to put the efforts into socializing that are necessary.
The hardest part of all when seeking the cure for procrastination is to take that first step, because it will be the tendency to put it off till tomorrow.
A step to breaking your procrastination habits is like taking a step into a new world. There are many wonderful opportunities waiting for you, provided you don’t put them off.
Don't put off taking control of your procrastination habits one day longer, because if you do that is another day that you may have missed out on something great. You can find help for this through the many resources.
