Established in 2008 Tennis Tots preschool games serves up fun by the bucket load. The brainchild of Matthew McTurk, an ex tennis professional and twice men’s doubles champion of Yorkshire, Tennis Tots preschool games cannot be faulted for the joy that they provide young children.
Tennis Tots preschool games originated in Bradford, however as our popularity grew we have expanded, forming classes in Leeds, Harrogate and York. Our preschool classes go far beyond just putting a racket in your tot’s hand as we aim to provide an all-round approach so that children can develop a number of vital skills, whilst learning a sport that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. Indeed, the advantages of encouraging your child to participate in our preschool games also enable them to develop a healthy attitude towards sport and exercise, enabling them to lead healthy lives from a young age.
The relaxed and friendly atmosphere that our preschool games are taught in provides children with an environment outside of the classroom that promotes structure and rewards from attaining goals. This is vital in developing confidence and self esteem in young children, character traits that are integral to success in later life. These preschool games also teach children to listen and follow instructions whilst having fun and learning about numbers, shapes, letters and, of course, developing skills with their racquet.
