Fiber.
Fiber also slows down digestion. Fiber takes allot of energy to digest, thus burning calories.
Protein at night.
Eat slow-digesting, appetite-suppressing foods like almonds, skim-milk yogurt or low-fat cheese.
Water.
Drink water, dehydration, not hunger, causes some overeating. Drink at least eight glasses a day. Water transports nutrients, remove toxins and rehydrate the body.
Nuts
Almonds and walnuts also triggers the release of cholecystokinin, a hormone that slows down your appetite.
Walk
Walk before and after you eat, the thermic dynamic action of digesting your dinner along with the exercise will help you burn calories. Just before a meal, take a brisk stroll around the block it will help curb your hunger. Then, 45 minutes after eating, go for another walk.
