• Lack of good images – This is a common enough problem. You think you have the best images to use, but once you are compositing them together and enhancing them you see that they are not quite all right. After all, that trouble in doing photo shoots for your color posters and doing scans, this can look like a big problem since you might need to do all the photographs all over again.
Do not worry however, since you actually do not have to. The quick fix to this is to use an image editing application just like Adobe Photoshop. With that tool, you can cut all the crucial elements in your original images and then combine them with other high-resolution images from stock photos over the Internet. You will not have to do your photo shoots all over again. With a little digital magic, you can make those bad poster images better. Just be patient with the image editing and you should be fine.
• No useful text in the software – Another common problem that some novice designers encounter is the lack of useful text in the desktop publishing software. Sometimes, the font styles in these applications are just not enough. Novice designers may end up settling for font styles that they do not really like. This leads to unoriginal and often standard looking posters that do not really have that creative appeal.
You can quickly fix this however by downloading and installing new fonts. Do not worry you do not have to pay for them. There are plenty of free font databases on the Internet. Just look free fonts and browse through the websites that offer them. You should be able to choose from plenty of creatively designed fonts that are perfect for a lot of poster designs. Just install them into your computer by copying the font file to the font system folder in your computer and you will be all set.
• Bad setup – It is also common to discover that your design is just not set for proper printing process. The dimensions you need might be not ideal and you might have forgotten to add printing bleeds and guidelines. This can really be a pain especially if you are already finished with the basic design and enhancements.
To solve this problem, you should just download a template that you can use. Since poster templates are already set for proper poster printing all you have to do is copy paste all your design elements into the template design. Just tweak and adjust your designs to fit the template and your draft should be quite ready.
Therefore, you should know these quick fixes for common problems in poster printing. As you can see, solutions can easily be at hand. You just need the right know how. Remember the tips well and you will have little trouble from these little problems. Good Luck!
