Try to Follow a Low Carb Diet
Low carbohydrate diets are a great way to keep trim. These diets focus on avoiding such foods as breads, grains, rice, noodles and potatoes. These foods are major contributors to the nation's chubbiness. They are rich in carbohydrates, which give us energy, but all that unused energy goes straight to our fat cells.
These diets work well, but make sure you still get enough carbohydrate in your diet to stay healthy. You also have to make sure you get enough protein, so go ahead and eat meat. And, it's always a good idea to avoid foods that are rich in sugars and additives, no matter what diet you are using.
Any other diet will work as well too. The thing to remember is moderation. You can watch what you eat and still enjoy delicious meals, and you don't have to count every calorie. Learn a little about nutrition and you will be able to make healthier eating choices which will keep you slim and trim.
A Little Exercise Never Hurts
Well, it could. Probably, your plastic surgeon will tell you to make sure you get some exercise after your lipo, and you'll probably say, "Yeah, sure, whatever". Actually, a little exercise can be the deciding factor of the failure or success of your liposuction.
Simple is best-try walking. Go for long, relaxed strolls around the neighborhood or your favorite park. Instead of driving 5 minutes to the grocery store, hike to it. Carrying the bags back home will be good exercise for your arm muscles too. Take any opportunity you can to use your 2 feet instead of driving. We are so reliant on our cars that we have forgotten how relaxing a long walk can be.
A little cardio also works wonders. Just get your heart pumping and work up a sweat 2 to 3 times a week doing something you enjoy. You can run, play a sport, use an exercise machine, or do anything else that will get you moving. Join a gym and guilt yourself into going.
The most important thing to remember is that simplest is best. Don't get talked into some complex exercise routine if you're not a big exerciser. It will burn you out and you'll ditch exercising altogether. Instead, do simple things that are fun and enjoyable for you. This way, you can stick to your routine easily.
There is nothing worse than getting a liposuction and then watching the flab creep back afterwards. It makes you feel like the whole thing was for naught. As you recover from your surgery, build up a diet and exercise routine that is simple, reasonable and manageable. Make it a habit, and you'll never have to worry about the fat coming back. Your whole body will thank you for it later.
