It stated as many as 58% of Brits hired cars over public transports, 21 found transportation system of foreign countries confusing, and majority of Brits that went for hiring were youngsters.

Youngsters seemed to be far less confident about public transport while the old Brits tourists use public transport seeking adventure in foreign countries. Data shows only 12% of 55 years old showed concern about safety and were worried about getting lost. However in youngsters the number was 27%. Out of an age group of 18-24; 27 % were agitated about being lost.

In fact more mature adults were found happy taking bumpy rides, with only 14% complaining about the issue, while 24% of adults cribbed about the issue on the other hand.

A manager of online car hire comparison website commented that even though public transport system in abroad is safe and easy to use, many of the tourists have concerns of using them. Tourists are scared of being lost due to in adequate communication.

It seems car rental agency has such customers in the bag. New amicable services of car hire industry are particularly appealing to such travelers. It is advantageous for them in terms of comfort, time utility,
