Petition for the Suspension or Banning of Michael Vick from the NFL

Michael Vick should be asked to atone for his inhuman treatment of dogs. At a minimum, he should make a sizable donation to the Humane Society. To show him the way, Sports.EnterTo.com will make a donation to this organization for every signature added to this petition. We would expect this wealthy football player to match our donation, or exceed it.
To: The NFL and The Atlanta Falcons
We sign this petition as a fair and direct way to urge the NFL and the
Atlanta Falcons to suspend Michael Vick from further participation and
play in the sport. It is not necessary that he be judged guilty in a
criminal court of law. It is already sufficiently clear that he had some
involvement in this inhuman treatment of domesticated animals, and that
he did it not only for money, but for pleasure. That is enough for him
to be banned.
His activities disgrace himself, his team, his league, his sport, and
everyone who is touched by his treatment of the dogs.
As NFL fans, pet owners, and people, we expect better behavior from
heroic figures who operate in the public eye, and from those who oversee
their public activities. The NFL has a long history of banning players
who step over the line, and Michael Vick is another such player who
deserves the most serious penalties the NFL can mete out.
We the undersigned urge the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons to distance
themselves from Michael Vick and his inhuman activities involving
helpless and dependent domestic animals as a way to uphold the fine
traditions and values of the team and the sport.
Michael Vick should be suspended immediately. He should not be allowed
to participate in any league activities until and unless it is
completely proven that he had no involvement of any kind. If he pleads
guilty to a lesser charge or there is any evidence that he participated
in any cruelty to the dogs involved in this situation, he should be
banned from the NFL for life.
The NFL and the Atlanta Falcons should consider the message they are
sending by continuing to pay and to protect this person.
