This is generally provided as a lump sum payment intended to keep you out of financial turmoil until you can find employment more suitable to your new level of ability.

If you disagree with your doctor’s rating, you can seek a second opinion from another medical provider. The appointment for the second opinion will be paid for by workers’ compensation.
