Can the little person make a turn around? Experience teaches as we learn from our mistakes, yet as we become seasoned in the game of life it does not necessarily mean that the winner takes all. For example:
1. The yeller stands out in the crowd, they are defiant in making their claim and shout in ear piercing tones to get what they want.
2. The aggressor plays tackle, if you do not move out of their way, they bump or rustle you to the ground.
3. The complacent ease through obstacles, they like safe, there is no need to make haste to waste, leisure is more their ideal of good living.
4. The intelligent, nothing gets past them, they readily inform you of the do and don’t in their shrewdness to advocate in civil liberties. It would not be wise to hang around them if you did not know your rights; you are likely to get caught in a sling.
5. Then there is the passive, the stammers that does not project in confidence, always agreeable due to a lack of strength or influence, steadily pushing while being shoved as an underdog, trying exceedingly hard to become a recognizable authority, never to really succeed.
As I observe the common traits, I ascertain that they all have seats of authority, simply because they are among the majority that has come to the realization that weight carries in worth. The yeller is defiant, the aggressor breaks barriers, the complacent propaganda’s in comfort, intelligences wins in sells and the passive strives as a tenacious assistant.
Old clichés from earlier generations remain progressive today:
1. Look them in the eye is a beginning to be stern, sure, and confident. If something is in your eye to prevent in brevity, assimilate the action.
2. Never stutter when you are talking.
3. Make sound decisions.
4. As the saying goes, never let them see you sweat.
5. If you are one against many, it is then your choice to stand firm in what you believe or deal in the compromise. If you deal with the compromise, remember, it will make the headlines before you have a chance to look in the mirror.
As my life has fallen into an ineffectual, passive rut, a setback given to struggle, I blame the job market. Money on the flip side may not be the cure all, but it makes for a softer cushion. Where I am living in my small world, surround in adverse situations where hope coincides with the meeting of a cowboy in his swiftness to take me away. To lack in life as an ineffectual, I need a strong helping hand to ride out into the sunset to a better place in life. A pick me upper is always nice. Aside, many of the passive have risen into success and wealth where compensation is relevant. In conclusion, they are amongst the ranks as an echelon do-gooder.
