Many small to medium businesses depend on their offline marketing schemes. They distribute their brochures, stick their posters on walls and post ads on the daily newspaper. These days those forms of advertisements just aren’t enough. I have only 3 words for those businesses, “build a website”.
The internet is a powerful marketing tool. Many people have used the internet to reach thousands of potential customers that you cannot expect if you do only offline marketing. That’s why I am recommending you to build a website.
A website is a collection of web pages that contains text information and media (flash, video). It acts as an information resource on the internet.
A website is a wonderful asset to a business. It can contain every bit of information from the history, philosophy, services offered to your contact information.
Online marketing would be a lot easier because you can be found on the internet 24 hours a day. Imagine having a sales agent working 24 hours a day. Any internet user has the chance to read about you. You don’t even need to send brochures to potential customers.
I can’t tell you all the benefits of having a website. There are just so many.
